If you are buying a property, our firm charges a standard fixed price professional fee of $1, 100.00 (including GST) for QLD conveyancing matters.
If you are selling a property, our firm charges a standard fixed price professional fee of $770.00 (including GST) for QLD conveyancing matters.
We do not have any hidden costs when we are providing our settlement service to you. However, when buying or selling a property, there are several government and statutory fees such as Stamp Duty that you may need to pay in addition to our professional fees.
Yes, we do charge your disbursements in addition to our professional fee. The disbursements that you would be charged for would be from us conducting property searches, such as a Land Title Search, to ensure that you are aware of any outstanding fees, taxes or any underlying conditions that may apply to the property.
We always recommend that our clients order searches on the property as it is the best way to protect you from a possible property disaster and what possible remedies could could be aware to you prior to settlement. After receiving instructions from you, we will advise approximately how much you will incur by way of disbursements.
When it comes to the Settlement Day, we can even attend and complete the settlement on your behalf or conduct the entire process through electronic settlement.
