Vikas Jain

Principal Solicitor
Registered Migration Agent (0958336)

Vikas Jain became a Registered Migration Agent in 2009. After completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Southern Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University, Vikas was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

He started Wickham Lawyers in late 2016 to assist those who are seeking dedicated legal services in a more informal setting. He has a solid track record for obtaining positive results for his clients during the migration processes. Many local businesses have benefited from his assistance in obtaining the correct visa for talented and skilled foreign nationals when businesses have been unable to source skilled workers locally.

Vikas regularly represents clients in immigration matters in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts. Whilst his primary area of practice is immigration he has extensive experience in business, corporate, and commercial law, as well as property law and conveyancing.

Vikas also assists clients who are seeking to facilitate business and legal arrangements between Australia and India.  He regularly travels to Melbourne, Sydney and India on business and speaks six languages fluently.

Jessie Mokmargana

Paralegal / Legal Secretary

Jessie began with us at the beginning of 2020 in our Brisbane office. She helps in assisting our solicitors with their everyday tasks and welcomes clients into the office with her friendly and approachable nature.

Jessie’s role includes liaising with clients, file management and drafting various documents and correspondence.

Jessie is currently studying her Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Finance) at the Queensland University of Technology, so that she can be admitted as a legal practitioner herself in the near future.

She is heavily interested in conveyancing, family and migration law; however, she ensures that she provides the highest level of support to our solicitors in all areas of law that we practice.


Siân Retchless


Siân is a Solicitor who was admitted to practice in August 2017 and in 2019 she was entered onto the registry of the High Court of Australia as a practitioner that is entitled to practice in any Federal Court in Australia.

She joined our team in February 2018 and quickly became a very valued member of a team. Before joining our team, she worked in various legal firms from a sole practitioner to a top tier firm.

You can normally find Siân working on commercially focused and practical solutions for our clients in our business, corporate and commercial areas.

She is a highly organised and motivated solicitor who uses her broad knowledge and understanding of how businesses operate to give clients the best outcome.

Since the beginning of 2020, our most requested solicitor for criminal law and family law matters.

Fatima Arshad


Fatima is a recently admitted lawyer and works at our Gold Coast office. She has previous experience predominantly in family law, property law and commercial litigation.

Fatima’s love for family law stems from a genuine desire to interact with clients in such a way that honours the family they have built, without compromising that through unnecessary conflict or emotional and financial stress. With a passion for brightening people’s days, she retains a genuine interest in connecting with clients on a deeper level and understanding their story.

Fatima also has a strong interest in criminal law, conveyancing and migration law, while being incredibly compassionate and committed to defending and advancing the interests of all our clients.

Leela Raj

In May 2019, Leela joined Wickham Lawyers initially as a Registered Migration Agent but has since been admitted lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, she is also employed as a practising Solicitor.

Leela is based in our Parramatta, New South Wales office and manages our clients both in Australia and worldwide.

Prior to working for Wickham Lawyers, Leela has had extensive experience in the legal industry both in Australia and internationally.  Leela is an admitted Barrister to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, in the United Kingdom and she was a practicing lawyer in Malaysia.

She can assist employers to manage the temporary and permanent visa needs of their international employees and handle employer sponsorship needs across Australia. She also has extensive experience with General Skilled Migration visas, assisting clients with the process of obtaining skills assessments with various assessing bodies and submitting applications for State Nominations.

She has also helped families in Australia by uniting them with their loved ones via Spouse, Child and Parent Visa submissions. In addition, she collaborates with education agents in and around Australia to assist in the enrollments of international students and submission of student visas.

Leela’s multi-language capabilities which includes English, Tamil, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia help our clients whose first language is not English to understand the migration process.

Leela’s passionate and determined approach results in her striving the best outcome for the needs of her clients.


Daniel Bellissimo

Registered Migration Agent (1800044)

Dan was born in Canada and grew up outside of Toronto. After finishing high  school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree at Carleton University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario.

In 2014, Dan immigrated permanently to Australia, completed bridging courses at Monash University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria.

He has been working in the field of immigration law. More recently has started working in commercial litigation, family law and conveyancing.

He also speaks conversational Spanish and Italian.
